8-bit Extravaganzza

WELCOME TO DOUBLE Z’S 8-BIT EXTRAVAGANZZA!

The “culmination” of five years of Double Z homebrews, 8-bit Extravaganzza is a 10-in-1 pirate multicart of all my NES programming projects, a personal progress report to see just how far I’ve come since dabbling in assembly coding when COVID sent us all indoors and made us all captives...

Provided within the readme are the instructions to the six main games within the Extravaganzza, most released on various websites. Previously unreleased variants are also accessible within this ROM.

Like any good pirate multicart, you’ll find several iterations of the same fantastic game.  Because… who wouldn’t want seven strikingly similar variations of PONG???

With a simple stroke of Up, Down, and Start, let the main menu guide you on a journey of arcade-style, score attack, beeps and blips adventures, all designed for quick pickup play.  As in the early 8-bit era, these games are “easy to play; difficult to master!”
